Christopher was unemployed for three months before he carried out his pre-employment training at Newcastle. Christopher was convinced this was an opportunity not to be missed and so it has paid off.
Before Christopher carried out his training at the Building Futures East Centre in Walker, Newcastle, he was unemployed for three months. He was trying to find a job, and hearing about the NAC training course, he thought it was an opportunity not to be missed.
Christopher was pleased he completed the course. "It was very well organised", he explained, "and it set me up perfectly for the work at Nissan. All the trainers were helpful and gave good advice." Christopher didn't find the skills testing too much of an ordeal, and thought that it would give him an edge over other candidates in any future job applications.
During the training Christopher benefitted from the information and advice that other workers gave him. He was warned that the job would be tough and that it would require hard work. This meant that he had a better idea of what to expect once he did start work.
"The NAC Group is a very good training provider", said Christopher, "and I have already recommended the course to my friends." Christopher is now working at Nissan in the Trim and Chassis department, and this has made a dramatic improvement to his life. He now has spare money and is able to do a lot of things he couldn't afford before. Christopher now hopes that he has a career for life and can work his way up to the top.
